Our Clinical Psychologists conduct diagnostic and behavioral health assessments, develop treatment plans, provide on-going psychotherapy, behavior management, crisis management, and nursing facility staff education and training. You will have a supportive clinical team around you and clinical support from our Psychiatrists and Nurse Practitioners.

Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution and a State licensure as a Clinical Psychologist is required. Geriatric experience is preferred, but not required.

Regional travel is required to facilities that are often convenient to where you live. Travel reimbursement incentives are available to those open to travel within the state.

Supported by a talented clinical team of psychiatrists and social workers, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting diagnostic and behavioral health assessments

• Developing treatment plans

• Providing initial consultation for medication management

• Continuing ongoing management of psychiatric medications

• Providing on-going psychotherapy as needed

• Managing behavioral issues

• Resolving and managing patient crisis situations,

• Consulting with nurses, pharmacists and attending physicians as needed

• Educating and training nursing facility staff.

Masters degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, or Master’s degree in Social work and a State licensure as a Clinical Nurse Specialist/Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required. Geriatric and psychiatric experience is preferred, but not required.

• Working in collaboration with the psychiatrist/nurse practitioner, nursing staff and other team members to develop an effective treatment plan,

• Providing on-going psychotherapy, and develop effective behavior management plans,

• Resolving and managing patient crisis situations,

• Consulting with nurses, pharmacists and attending physicians as needed,

• Providing education and training to nursing facility staff

License for Clinical Social Work in good standing in the state, with a minimum of 2 years direct care in counseling/psychiatric nursing; working with the mentally challenged. Geriatric experience is preferred, but not required
